Lead Pastor
Pastor Wendy has been in ministry for over 30 years. She has been a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Lead Pastor and a Church Planter.
Wendy is extremely passionate for Jesus and counts each opportunity to share the Word of God to others an incredible blessing! Pastor Wendy preaches in an easy to understand manner, but also in a way that challenges everyone to dig deeper in their relationship with the Lord.
Wendy is very Community orientated. Her desire is to make sure the Community knows the church exists and is here to help in whatever capacity we can. She is often quoted saying… “Let’s be Jesus with skin on to our Community!”
Darrel and Wendy have been married for over 30 years. They have 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 3 incredibly adorable grandchildren!
When Wendy isn’t doing ministry things, she generally can be found having coffee with someone, laughing, and having a good time. Her zeal for life and Jesus is contagious and it is truly her hope that as many people find as much joy in Jesus as she has.
Youth & Worship Pastor
Pastor Vanessa is so excited to be a part of Cedarview Church.
She is a perfect example of a third-culture kid (or is it five) having had the awesome experience of getting to have lived in many different countries. Adaptability and appreciation for other cultures (and food) have been honed through life experiences.
Her experience has been varied working with kids, youth and adults, most recently serving as Assistant Pastor (Youth and Kids) for 5 years in Mississauga. It is her passion to see lives transformed by the Spirit and relationship with the LORD.
She would say worship is part of her DNA and it is her greatest joy to sing for the Lord and draw others into that precious place and see the atmosphere shift.
Her heart is to see the Kingdom of God advanced here and she is excited for the plans HE has for Cedarview Church, our community and the city!
Children's Pastor
Hello and welcome, my name is Rola, I'm the Family Ministries Pastor here at Cedarview Church! My husband David and I have 5 beautiful children. Our family mission is to follow Jesus, spread his love and make Him known. In February of 2022, we started to attend Cedarview Church in hopes of finding a community to do life with. We were blown away by the warmth of the congregation, the truthful and encouraging teaching of the Holy Scriptures and how focused the church was in reaching the community. After visiting a few times, Cedarview quickly became more than just a church but our extended family.
I want to personally invite you to Cedarview church and see for yourself. We have an amazing children's ministry team that will make you and your family feel right at home!
Office Administrator
Kyla has been attending Cedarview Church since before she can remember. She has volunteered in several church ministries over the years and currently runs the Cedarview Food Bank. Kyla has a Bachelor of Social Work and has a passion for serving and caring for people. She is excited to be lending her administrative skills to the role of Office Administrator and feels blessed to be working with her church family.
